Armie Hicks Jr.’s Circuit With Birgundi Baker, Mariama Diallo, & Sophia McDowell To Stream On June 19

Coming out this Friday is the short film Circuit, co-written and directed by Armie Hicks Jr. and starring Birgundi Baker, Roy Abramsohn, Mariama Diallo, Sophia McDowell and Xander Bailey.

Lured by an older man with promises of love and protection, 16-year-old Savannah Jones’ romantic expectations quickly fades as she finds herself trapped in the dark and devastating world of sex trafficking. Now called “Blondie,” she stumbles her way through the hierarchy of girls, as she is forced to perform sexual acts for the wealthy. In the end, her efforts for rescue are dashed along with her hope and innocence.

Co-written by Sade Sellers, the film will stream on June 19.
