According to Deadline, the action thriller 21 Bridges starring Chadwick Boseman has moved from its September 27 release date to November 22.
The switch moves the film out of a crowded release date — where it would have contended with such films as Joker — and into prime position to serve as counter-programming to the Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers flick A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Disney’s Frozen 2, and the revenge thriller Rhythm Section.
Produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo under their AGBO banner, the film was directed by Brian Kirk from a script by Adam Mervis. The cast also includes Sienna Miller, Taylor Kitsch, Stephan James, Keith David, Morocco Omari with J.K. Simmons.

21 BRIDGES follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 BRIDGES to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
