Blackfilm.com has learned that actress Tisha French, who appeared earlier this year in the blockbuster horror thriller film The Purge, has landed a recurring role on CBS’ daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless.

While the Detroit native’s role hasn’t been stated, her first episode airs on Nov.15.

French, who also appeared in Mark and Jay Duplass‘ produced horror comedy, ‘Bad Milo.’ has also booked a guest spot on ABC’s Nashville. That episode will air on Nov.27. Her previous TV credits include episodic work on various TV shows such as Brothers & Sisters and Prison Break.
