Fox TV has released the first promo for the second season of its hit TV series, Empire.
Everyone in the cast is back with the exception of Malik Yoba, whose character was killed last season.
Cast includes: Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon, Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Bryshere Gray as Hakeem Lyon, Trai Byers as Andre Lyon, Grace Gealey as Anika Gibbons, Kaitlin Doubleday as Rhonda Lyon.
A number of celebrities will be making guest appearances throughout the season including Adam Rodriguez, Chris Rock, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, and Lenny Kravitz, while Oscar winner Marisa Tomei has landed a recurring role.
Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, September 23. It will have 18 episodes, split between the fall and winter season.
