Halle Berry’s ‘Kidnap’ To Hit Theaters On Dec. 2Posted by Wilson Morales

Relativity Studios will release its upcoming thriller ‘Kidnap,’ starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry, in theaters on December 2, 2016.
Luis Prieto (Pusher) directed the film, based off Knate Gwaltney’s first screenplay. The film is a heart-stopping action thriller following a mother (Berry) who will stop at nothing to rescue her kidnapped son.
The cast also includes Patrick Kearns, Lew Temple, Dana Gourrier, Christopher Berry, Robert Walker Branchaud, Erica Curtis, Ritchie Montgomery, Kurt Krause, and Michael D. Anglin.
With the financial struggles that the studio has had in recent years, the film was pushed back several times. According to its Wikipedia page, the film was previously scheduled to release on October 9, 2015, but Relativity pushed back the film to February 26, 2016, because the company was facing financial crisis. Then it was re-scheduled to May 13, 2016 and again for August 16, 2016 as a new release date. That of course changed and December is hopefully its final date.
Di Bonaventure Pictures’ Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Erik Howsam produced the film. Executive producers are Lotus Entertainment’s Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, D.J. Gugenheim and Ara Keshishian alongside Gold Star’s Joey Tufaro and Colin Bates, Knate Gwaltney, Halle Berry and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas through their 606 Films production banner.
