Harold Perrineau Headlines Epix Sci-fi Horror Series “FROM,” Premiering February 20

Harold Perrineau (“Lost,” “Best Man,” Claws”) headlines the stellar ensemble cast of Epix Original contemporary sci-fi series “From,” created and executive produced by John Griffin. The series will be directed and executive produced by Jack Bender (LostGame of ThronesMr. Mercedes), who will be directing the first four episodes, and executive produced by Showrunner Jeff Pinkner (FringeAliasLost). From unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.

Perrineau will play Boyd Stevens, the sheriff whose Draconian rules have held the fragile town together, even as he searches for a way to escape this seemingly inescapable nightmare.

In addition to Perrineau, the cast includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of BrothersOnce Upon a Time), Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad.

From is also executive produced by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg for Midnight Radio, and Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca for AGBO. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson will serve as co-executive producer.

Harold Perrineau

Harold Perrineau is an incredibly talented artist who rose to fame in some of his generations most iconic projects.  On the small screen he made his mark starring as ‘Augustus Hill’ in HBO’s groundbreaking series OZ, and as ‘Michael Dawson’ in ABC’s LOST. 

His vast feature film career began with his breakout role as ‘Mercutio,’ opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Baz Luhrmann’s stylized retelling of the Shakespeare tragedy ROMEO & JULIET.  Harold also starred in Dave Mamet’s THE EDGE, The Wachowski’s THE MATRIX TRILOGY, Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar nominated, ZERO DARK THIRTY, and Paul Aster’s SMOKE, for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination, for ‘Best Supporting Actor.’ 

Most recently,  Harold played the role of ‘Dean Simms’ in the TNT series CLAWS.  His work as Niecy Nash’s autistic brother earned him a 2020 NAACP Image Award for ‘Best Supporting Actor.’  He will next be seen reprising his role as ‘Julian March’ in Peacock’s 10-episode limited dramedy series THE BEST MAN: THE FINAL CHAPTERS, the next installment of Universal’s hit THE BEST MAN film franchise.
