Coming out on DVD on January 28 through eOne Films is House of Bodies,” starring Academy Award nominees Terrence Howard and Peter Fonda, along with Queen Latifah and Alezx Johnson.
As one of the most chilling murder mysteries of 2013, this compelling drama marks the second film to come out of Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Prods. Howard and Latifah starred together in the 2007 film, “The Perfect Christmas.” Alex Merkin directed the film from a script by Eddie Harris.
The film is centered on Terrence Howard as ‘Detective Starks’ who investigates mysterious murders which are, in fact, copycat to those committed by the incarcerated serial killer ‘Henry Lee Bishop,’ portrayed by Peter Fonda. As Starks tries to crack through Bishop’s creepy demeanor to get answers, a young deaf boy finds himself witness to a college girl fighting to stay alive on a voyeur house webcast from the very house where Bishop committed the murders years before. Queen Latifah, who produced “Bodies,” makes an appearance in the film as ‘Nicole,’ a relay operator who works for a hearing-impaired telephone service.
