Jamie Foxx is set to star in Noam Murro’s heist film ‘Blink,’ reports Variety from Cannes.
Based on 2014’s Black List script by Hernany Perla., Foxx will play a hospital caregiver whose patient is taken hostage for the secrets in his head. That patient spent years being fully paralyzed during an infamous bank robbery and his only form of communicating with the outside world – and outsmarting his captors – is his ability to blink.
With Atlas Entertainment’s William Green and Aaron Ginsburg serving as producers, production is expected to begin this fall.
Murro directed 2014’s 300: Rise Of An Empire, which grossed $337.6 million worldwide. That film starred Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro and Lena Headey.
Foxx was last seen in ‘Annie’ and ‘Horrible Bosses 2.’
