Emmy-nominated Scandal star Kerry Washington is attached to star in Malcolm D. Lee’s romantic comedy ‘Is He The One’ for MGM.
Written by DJ Richardson and Michelle Morgan (“Girl Most Likely”), the film centers on a bride (Washington) who remembers her past three serious relationships, while getting ready for her wedding. The kicker is that the audience won’t find out who the lucky man is, until she meets him down the aisle at the wedding.
MGM Motion Picture Group president Jonathan Glickman and senior vice president Cassidy Lange are overseeing the project. Todd Garner is producing.
Lee’s last film was the box office hit “Best Man Wedding,” while Washington last appeared in Tina Gordon Chism’s “Peeples.”
