Acting My Age marks Hart’s return to the streaming giant after a successful run of previous Netflix projects. His first four specials and comedy-centered releases helped solidify his global streaming presence. In total, Hart now has 9 stand-up specials.
- Kevin Hart: I’m a Grown Little Man (2009) – Hart’s first breakout special captures him leaning fully into the chaos of adulthood. Filmed in New York City, he riffs on family life, responsibility, and the everyday moments that expose just how “grown” he actually is—or isn’t.
- Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny (2010) – Shot in Cleveland, this special is where Hart’s signature rhythm, pacing, and high-energy storytelling really click into place. He digs into the absurdities of his home life and relationships, delivering the kind of material that solidified his early rise.
- Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain (2011) – A turning point in his career, this Los Angeles–filmed special exploded into theaters and made Hart a household name. He mines his personal life—especially his complicated, hilarious relationship with his father—for some of his most talked-about bits.
