Kevin Hart is set to star in and produce the “superhero movie crossed with ‘Meet the Parents’” premised comedy “Night Wolf” at STXfilms and HartBeat Productions.
“Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” screenwriters Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit penned the project about an everyday guy meeting his future father-in-law for the first time, only to discover the man’s alter-ego is a superhero known as the Night Wolf.
Hart worked with STXFilms on “The Upside” and has both “Black Friday” and an untitled romantic comedy in the works with them. Hart will next be seen in Sony’s “Jumanji: The Next Level”.
