Kim Fields Joins What to Expect When You’re Expectingby Wilson Morales

Actress/ director Kim Fields has been added to the cast of the ensemble film ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting,’ joining Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock and Anna Kendrick.
Directed by Kirk Jones and based on the bestselling pregnancy-book series, the film follows four different couples through the ups and downs of pregnancy, stated The Hollywood Reporter.
Fields will play a social worker who helps out a couple with an adoption.
Best known for her roles as Tootie Ramsey on the NBC sitcom ‘The Facts of Life,’ and as Regine Hunter on the Fox sitcom ‘Living Single,’ this is the actress’s first studio feature.
In the last few years, Fields has directed dozens of episodes of the Tyler Perry-created series ‘Meet the Browns‘ and ‘House of Payne.’
The New York City native last hosted ‘Lens on Talent,’ which is BET and Johnson & Johnson’s filmmaker show.
Lionsgate will release the film on May 11th, 2012.
