KJ Smith (A Medea Family Funeral), Terayle Hill (Love, Simon, Superfly), Roger Guenveur Smith (Marshall, Dope), and Clifton Powell (All Eyez on me, RAY) are on board for director Jamal Hill‘s romance drama, The Available Wife.
Based on the novel “The Available Wife“ written by author Carla Pennington, the film explores when a successful music CEO gets caught up in lies, affairs and power, she is forced to face the dark motives of her secret lover.
According to Amazon, the book’s synopsis reads as follows – “Niquole Wright has it all; a loyal and devoted husband, two children and a rising record label that she dedicates more time to than her family. Everything is perfect except for one thing…her husband, Germaine. She has run her course with him and he needs to be replaced. When the handsome and seductive Kingston enters her life, he becomes the perfect substitute. Hill (Brotherly Love, Deuces) also co-wrote the script alongside Tressa A. Smallwood, (Secrets) who is executive producing the film via her company MegaMind Media. The film is being produced by Audrea Topps Harjo (All In, Mischief Upon Mischief) and Co-producing is Sean M. Butler and Patrick Strøm. This explosive romantic drama is guaranteed to captivate all audiences.
