Ludacris Joins ‘New Year’s Eve’

Rapper/ actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges has been added to the cast of Garry Marshall‘s romantic comedy ‘New Year’s Eve.’

Hitting theaters on December 9, the huge cast includes Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Abigail Breslin, Ice Cube, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

The movie tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they navigate their way through bittersweet drama and romance over the course of New Year’s Eve.

Bridges joins Ice Cube as NYPD cops who are working with the director of the Times Square festivities (played by Swank).

The Atlanta, GA native will be soon seen opposite Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, and Tyrese Gibson in ‘Fast Five,’ the fifth installment of the ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise. Earlier this year, he was featured opposite Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman in the romantic comedy ‘No Strings Attached.’

Bridges recently posted some pics of him and Swank while on the set of ‘New Year’s Eve.’
