Meagan Good 7Meagan Good, who was recently seen in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, is returning to NBC with a role in the network’s drama pilot Babylon Fields.

Directed by Michael Cuesta, with Gerald Cuesta and Michael Atkinson serving as the screenwriters, the series is about a town’s residents coming back from the dead. Described as a sardonic drama, in Babylon Fields, the dead are rising in Babylon, NY, and as a result, lives are regained, old wounds are reopened and families are restored — for better or worse. The newly regenerated bodies are healing faster and growing stronger than anyone else leading to the suspicion that they might be the next step in human evolution.

Good will play Janine Beltran, a beautiful local doctor with an edge to her.

babylon fieldsBabylon was initially a project that was produced, developed and piloted at CBS seven years ago.

In 2013, the Los Angeles played Joanna Locasto, the lead character on the NBC drama series Deception. The series only lasted one season with 11 episodes completed. Good will next be seen reprising her role as Mya in Think Like a Man Too, the sequel to the 2012 hit film.
