Michael K. Williams Books Roles In ‘Assassin’s Creed’ ‘And Ghostbusters’ Posted by Wilson Morales

Whether you see him on the big or small screen, Michael K. Williams is forever working. Variety has reported that Brooklyn, NY native has just booked key roles in Sony’s “Ghostbusters” and New Regency’s “Assassin’s Creed.”
The new “Ghostbusters” film is being directed by Paul Feig and will star a female cast starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Williams, whose role is being quiet for now, joins Chris Hemsworth in the supporting categories. That film will shoot first.
He then joins Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in “Assassin’s Creed,” which is based on the popular video game. The site states that he will have a bigger role and is expected to return in a sequel.
Williams will next be seen opposite Wiig and Maya Rudolph in the IFC miniseries “The Spoils Before Dying.” He also just booked a starring role in the Sundance TV series “Hap and Leonard.” He recently completed his run as Chalky White on HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” and was last seen opposite Queen Latifah in the network’s “Bessie.”
