Here is the first subtitled trailer at Michel Gondry‘s upcoming Mood Indigo (L’Ecume Des Jours).
The French film is co-written and directed by Michel Gondry and co-written and produced by Luc Bossi. Starring in the film are Amélie star Audrey Tautou, Romain Duris, Gad Emaleh and The Intouchables‘ Omar Sy.
According to Vulture, the story is based on the 1947 French novel of the same name by Boris Vian. The film centers on a young couple’s romantic relationship. Colin (Romain Duris) is a spirited, wealthy inventor and his beloved Chloe (Audrey Tautou) is a beautiful young woman who develops a disease that can only be treated by surrounding her with flowers. Sy plays Colin’s man-servant Nicolas. The film marks a reunion of sorts between Duris and Tautou who co-starred as lovers in the 2002 film The Spanish Apartment.
