Fox TV has released several photos and clips from the fourth episode titled “Hour 5: Before the Storm” of Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewoood’s penned and Brian Grazer produced “event series” ‘Shots Fired,’ which airs on Wednesday, April 19 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

Inspired by recent events that have sparked national outrage and the Black Lives Matters movement, the cast includes Sanaa Lathan as Detective Ashe; Stephan James as Preston Terry; Stephen Moyer as Lieutenant Breeland; Will Patton as Sheriff Platt; Mack Wilds as Deputy Beck; Aisha Hinds as Pastor Janae James; DeWanda Wise as Shameeka Campbell; Clare-Hope Ashitey as Kerry Beck; Conor Leslie as Sarah; and Richard Dreyfuss as Arlen Cox.

In the fourth episode, which was directed by Kasi Lemmons and written by Marissa Jo Cera, Cory reveals details that help Preston and Ashe zero in on the people whom they believe were involved in Joey Campbell’s death; Ashe attempts to gain control of her personal life.

Shots Fired is produced by Undisputed Cinema and Imagine Television, in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-written by Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood. The project is executive-produced by Gina Prince-Bythewood, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo.
