Lionsgate has released the poster to the upcoming noir thriller, The Poison Rose, starring John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Famke Janssen, Brendan Fraser, Peter Stormare, Ella Bleu Travolta, Kat Graham, Robert Patrick, Nadine Lewington, and Nick Vallelonga.
The Poison Rose was directed by George Gallo, produced by Richard Salvatore and Avi Lerner along with Andrea Iervolino and Oscar Generale. The film’s executive producers are David Ornston, George Gallo, Trevor Short, Barry Brooker, and Stan Wertlieb. Lonnie Ramati, Micheal Schefano, Anson Downes, and Linda Favila are co-executive producers and Ben Ruedinger, Chris Mullinex, and Joerg Fischer are co-producers.
In the new crime thriller, John Travolta plays an ex-football star turned hard-drinking Los Angeles private eye Carson Phillips, who takes a case in his hometown of Galveston, Texas. While searching for a missing woman, he must confront a crime boss (Morgan Freeman), a shady doctor (Brendan Fraser), a sexy club singer (Kat Graham), his former lover (Famke Janssen), as well as his own dark, disturbing past. The film also stars Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day).
