Shepherd’s character, “Angela Writer,” a mid-40s native New Yorker, is a single mom who’s put aside her dreams to raise her son after her husband dies. There is fun…she reunites with her sorority sisters to recapture the passion and sisterhood of her glory days.
The Emmy-winning TV co-host most recently known for her tenure on ABC’s “The View.” will appear in the upcoming Netflix musical “A Week Away,” released later this month. During the pandemic Shepherd launched the “Two Funny Mamas” podcast with actress Kym Whitley and joined the Fox’ “Dish Nation” as a daily co-host.
