This week, while appearing on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” co-star and current “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” cast member Terry Crews talked about the possibility of a “White Chicks” sequel.
It’s been15 years since the original comedy was released. Keenan Ivory Wayans directed the first film which grossed $113 million worldwide from a $37 million budget.
The film followed two disgraced FBI agents (Marlon and Shawn Wayans) who go undercover as ‘white chicks’ in a bid to protect a hotel heiress from a kidnapping plot.
Crews said Shawn Wayans told him it’s happening: “You know what, I actually got with Shawn [Wayans], and he was like ‘man we doing it, we getting it going…’ Fifteen years ago, you have to understand. Fifteen years ago as of this month. I’m staying in shape just for that movie.”
Crews is best known in the film for singing Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.”
