Candice Patton, who was last seen playing Tori on BET’s ‘The Game,’ has joined the cast for the pilot of CW’s ‘The Flash.’
The series is a spinoff to the network’s ‘Arrow,’ which stars Stephen Amell.
The actress joins a cast that includes Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett and Danielle Panabaker.
As Shadowandact, com pointed out, a character breakdown circulated around the web, which gave some information to the role. “As smart as she is beautiful, Iris is in grad school studying psychology. She’s also Barry’s mile a minute, fast-talking, quick-witted best friend. Her father, Detective West (played by Jesse L. Martin), took in Barry when his mother was murdered, and his father was wrongly accused and imprisoned for her murder. In a tough childhood for Barry, she was the one “not tough” thing. She’s unaware of Barry’s strong feelings for her.”
Her TV credits also include appearances on “Rizzoli & Isles,” “CSI: Miami,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
