The Hunger Games’ Amandla Stenberg joins cast of Fox’s Sleepy HollowPosted by Wilson Morales

Amandla Stenberg, who starred as Rue in the The Hunger Games, has been cast in a recurring role for the Fox hit drama Sleepy Hollow, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The California native will play Macey, the daughter of Capt. Frank Irving (played by Orlando Jones) and his ex-wife Cynthia. Macey feels disconnected from her dad since he has taken up his post in Sleepy Hollow. Her first appearance will be on Oct.25.
Stenberg also appeared as young Cataleya (played as an adult by Zoe Saldana) in Colombiana, and will voiced the character Bia in Rio 2, slated for a 2014 release.
Starring Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, and Katia Winter, the show has become one of few breakouts of the fall season. Not only is the show doing well in ratings and on DVR, but Fox has already renewed the series for another season after the first three episodes.
