Girlfriend’s Jill Marie Jones added to Fox’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’Posted by Wilson Morales

Jill Marie Jones, best known for her role as Toni Childs on the UPN/CW sitcom Girlfriends, has joined the cast of Fox’s breakout hit drama, Sleepy Hollow, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The Texas native will play Cynthia, the ex-wife of Frank Irving (played by Orlando Jones) and mother to their teenage daughter, Macey (Amandla Stenberg). Stenberg was cast this past week. Her first episode will be on the Nov. 25 episode.
Since Jones left Girlfriends at the end of its sixth season in 2006, she has appeared in a few films, including Redrum, The Perfect Holiday, Major Movie Star, and 35 and Ticking. She last appeared on television in an episode of American Horror Story: Asylum.
Starring Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, and Katia Winter, the show has become one of few breakouts of the fall season. Not only is the show doing well in ratings and on DVR, but Fox has already renewed the series for another season after the first three episodes.
