Synopsis: When Kyle Bishop (Lance Gross) joined the NFL, he dreamed of a life of luxury that would allow him to provide for his family. But when an unexpected turn of events brings him back to his hometown, Kyle rediscovers the one true love he left behind. Long before professional football had become his passion, his high school sweetheart, Faith (Nicole Beharie) had been his whole world. Now, caught between the demands of the career he has always dreamed of and the single mother who has his heart, Kyle must make the most important decision of his life.
KEY CAST
Director Matthew A. Cherry is a former NFL wide receiver that played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens. He retired in 2007 and moved to LA to pursue a career in entertainment. The former NFL Player has given us a look into the “other side” with his new film THE LAST FALL. The movie depicts an athlete’s struggle away from the football field, which is based on the life of Matthew, himself. This film is the athlete-turned director’s feature film debut, which has already garnered critical acclaim from various film festivals.
