Vertical Entertainment has released the trailer and poster to the gritty crime thriller Vincent N Roxxy, directed and written by Gary Michael Schultz and starring Zoe Kravitz (Divergent) and Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild). It will be hitting theaters and VOD June 2nd.
The film had its premiere at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Also featured in the film are Emory Cohen, Zoey Deutch, Jason Mitchell, Beau Knapp, Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi.
In the film, Vincent (Emile Hirsch), a loner from a small town meets Roxxy (Zoë Kravitz) when a vicious killer attacks her on the street in broad daylight before a crowd of witnesses. Vincent tries to save her, forcing Vincent and Roxxy to go on the run for their lives. The two lost souls soon learn violence will follow them everywhere, even as they unexpectedly start to fall for each other.
The film was scored by Questlove (Ahmir-Khalib Thompson) of The Roots and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
