Lionsgate has released the first trailer for their upcoming film, ‘Addicted,’ starring Sharon Leal, Boris Kodjoe, Tasha Smith, Tyson Beckford, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Kat Graham, and William Levy.
Based on the best-selling novel by Zane, ADDICTED is a sexy and provocative thriller about desire and the dangers of indiscretion. Successful businesswoman Zoe Reynard (Sharon Leal) appears to have attained it all – the dream husband she loves (Boris Kodjoe), two wonderful children and a flourishing career. As perfect as everything appears from the outside, Zoe is still drawn to temptations she cannot escape or resist. As she pursues a secretive life, Zoe finds herself risking it all when she heads down a perilous path she may not survive.
Levy will play Quentin Matthews, a talented painter whose work Zoe is interested in for her business. Smith will play Dr. Marcella Spencer, Zoe Reynard’s therapist who helps her through the sex addiction. Corinealdi, the breakout star of Ava DuVernay’s ‘Middle of Nowhere,’ will play Zoe’s best friend Brina, an exuberant, hard working but flirtatious woman who has suspicions about Zoe’s troubles in the bedroom and reminds her what she has to lose. Directed by Bille Woodruff, the screenplay was adapted by Christina Welsh and Ernie Barbarash. The Lionsgate film will be produced by Paul Hall and executive produced by Charisse Nesbit.
ADDICTED opens in theaters nationwide on OCTOBER 10th, 2014!
