STX has released the trailer to its upcoming movie Hustlers, starring Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Jennifer Lopez (Second Act), Julia Stiles (Silver Linings Playbook), Keke Palmer (Scream Queens), Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), singer Lizzo, and Cardi B., making her film debut.
Written and directed byLorene Scafaria, Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. The film is inspired by the article published by New York Magazine entitled “The Hustlers at Scores” written by Jessica Pressler.
The site also states that Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King). Mette Towley (Cats) and Trace Lysette (Transparent) are in negotiations to join the film.
STXfilms is producing alongside Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina, who previously collaborated with STX on 2018 rom-com Second Act, as well as Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions.
