Omeleto has now released online the award-winning episodic short, Beast, written and directed by Ben Strang and starring Elijah Mayo, Chantal Nchako, Jay Potter, and Helen Hedman.
In Chapter 1 of this award-winning episodic short, a grieving teenager named Daniel recruits the help of a fisherman to figure out what happened to his father after a mysterious disappearance. Set in a remote and homogenous fishing village, it’s a story about isolation and the resilience of the human spirit. Upon its debut at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, the series’ pilot drew critical acclaim and won the fest’s Grand Jury Award for Independent Episodics.
