Wunmi Mosaku talks Disney+ Series ‘Loki’

Disney+ introduces the new ‘Loki’ series, chronicling events that take place after the Avengers: End Game. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki, the God of Mischief, and blackfilm.com correspondent Koku Tona had an opportunity to sit down with series star Wunmi Mosaku, who stars as Hunter B-15, a high level hunter in the Time Variance Authority (TVA) tasked with maintaining the proper timeline within the Marvel Universe–which also means keeping Loki from disrupting the balance.

Most are familiar with Mosaku from her phenomenal role as Ruby in the horror-drama series ‘Lovecraft Country‘, providing nothing short of a social media event as we all watched and collectively hashtagged at the edges of our seats.

Hunter B-15 is just as compelling, with ‘Loki’ providing an exciting deep dive into the world of the TVA, and its importance to maintaining the Universe’s order.

In our exclusive interview, Mosaku compares working in the UK to working in the US, and lets viewers know whether it’s necessary to dive into all aspects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before familiarizing yourself with the series.

‘Loki’ is good. You won’t have to be a comic fan to love it. It’s equal parts action, comedy, and mystery as you try to understand Loki’s motives in his part time villany, juxtaposed with the high level agents in the TVA navigating in a capacity to save him from destroying the outcomes of events.
