Youtube Originals has just announced the second installment of Bear Witness, Take Action 2 that will premiere exclusively on Youtube Saturday, December 5 at 3pm PT/6pm ET. The live streamed event serves as a global conversation on racial justice from the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund. Common and Keke Palmer are joining on as hosts again, inspiring the platform’s global community to take action for racial justice uniting YouTube creators, public figures, and influential voices. In addition to the livestream, Bear Witness, Take Action 2 will feature unique voices from the Black community producing mini documentaries to share their perspectives and experiences on racial inequity, which will live on YouTube.
The special is coming on the heels of the successful first Bear Witness, Take Action special, which was the first YouTube Originals project to come from YouTube’s $100M Black content fund. Producing the special are SpringHill Company, Fly On The Wall Entertainment, and Byron Phillips. Reginald Hudlin serves as Executive Producer and Showrunner. Scroll down to view the events trailer.
