While at the 2012 Golden Globes, and having won the award for Best Actor in a Miniseries (‘Luther’), Idris Elba spoke with MTV and confirmed that he will be back in ‘Thor 2,’ reprising the role of Heimdall.
Thor 2 is planned to hit theaters on November 15, 2013.
Meanwhile, Elba will next be seen opposite Nicolas Cage in ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,’ and later as Captain Janek in Ridley Scott‘s alien film, ‘Prometheus.’ He’s currently shooting ‘Pacific Rum‘ for director Guillermo del Toro.
