Sanaa Lathan Set To Do Space Film ‘Ad Inexplorata’Posted by Wilson Morales

Deadline is reporting that Sanaa Lathan is set to do ‘Ad Inexplorata,’ an independent space film from writer-director Mark Elijah Rosenberg.
Produced by Beasts of the Southern Wild producers Josh Penn and Matt Parker, the film will also star Mark Strong, who will play a NASA pilot on a solo mission to Mars. Lathan will play Captain Emily Maddox, a captain on one of four ships making the trek to the Red Planet.
Lathan was last seen in the hit sequel The Best Man Holiday, which is now available on Blu-ray, and will next be seen opposite Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie is the indie film ‘Repentance.’
