BET’S new original series “Haus of Vicious” premiered on Wednesday, August 17 at 8 PM ET/PT. From creator Jill Ramsey, the eight-episode first season follows Tami Roman’s character Chantel Vivian, a fashion designer who’s success is overshadowed by her narcissistic husband, addiction, unresolved childhood traumas, and dysfunctional personal life. With the assistance of her secret weapon, Jaelyn Ryan (Erica Peeples), publicist to her Vicious Empire, Chantel works to rise through the ranks, but her husband Kane’s (Redaric Williams) behavior threatens to tear down the house she built. Industry veteran Kim Fields directed all eight episodes. The talented ensemble cast also stars Norman Nixon Jr. (Milan), Tiffany Black(Raven), Kyler O’Neal (Izzy), Brely Evans (Avery), Lyric Anderson (Tia), and industry veteran Ella Joyce (Carolyn).

EPISODE 1 SYNOPSIS
The world’s who’s-who are all over the city for New York Fashion Week. Chantel has finally broken fashion ground and stepped onto the prominent runway. While she may be on top of her career, the marriage to her narcissitic and cheating husband, Kane Livingston, is on the rocks. No match for Kane, Chantel is emotionally manipulated and forced to wear the blame. The episode ends with Chantel back in her glam-studio and snatching off her wig. Her hairstylist, Raven eases into the studio to give Chantel more than just a bag of cocaine. Don’t miss the premiere episode on Wednesday, August 17 at 8 PM ET/PT.
