Time is a documentary that highlights the life and fight of a family that yearns to be reunited. Fox Rich (referred to as this only once as the couple prefers to go by FoxandRob for reasons to be highlighted later), the matriarch of the Rich family is the centerpiece of this film as she chronicles her life as a mother, wife, and public speaker who is giving her all to put her family back together.
FoxandRob were a young and ambitious couple raising their family in Louisiana, providing for themselves by running a clothing store in Shreveport until things took a desperate turn. FoxandRob, with the help of their nephew robbed a local bank, only to get caught shortly after committing the crime. This was the moment that changed their lives forever. FoxandRob were sentenced 63 years combined, with the patriarch of the family receiving the large share of the sentencing of 60 years without parole.
It was during this time that FoxandRob looked to regain dignity for her family’s name with something she calls “social capital” in hopes of getting her husband back to make the family whole again. For 21 years she worked to support the families 6 sons and speak to the community about how the choices you make can change the course of your life ultimately affecting others in a ripple effect.
Alex McGaughey interviews FoxandRob, who have conjoined their names to represent how long they fought to be physically together, on the strength it takes to fight for family and how one moment can influence your life for the rest of Time.
