Naturi Naughton joins Omari Hardwick in 50 Cent’s Starz series, PowerPosted by Wilson Morales

Naturi Naughton, along with Lela Loren and Joseph Sikora, have been added to the cast of STARZ Original drama series Power, that will be executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and created by Courtney Kemp Agboh, who will serve as executive producer and showrunner.
Power tells the story of wealthy New York City nightclub owner, James “Ghost” St. Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick), who caters to the city’s elite. He wants to build an empire, turn the club into a Fortune 500 business, but there’s just one problem: he is living a double life. When he is not in the club, he is the kingpin of the most lucrative drug network in New York for a very high-level clientele.
Naughton will play James’ wife, confidant and willing accomplice Tasha. Loren plays Angela Valdes, an old flame of James’ who unexpectedly re-enters his life; while plays Tommy Egan, James’ childhood best friend and business partner.
For Naughton, whose film credits include Notorious, Fame, and The Lottery Ticket, this represents her third lead role on a television show after NBC’s short-lived series The Playboy Club and Lifetime’s The Client List, where she was a series regular in season one. In 2010, the New Jersey native had a recurring role on the Emmy winning series, Mad Men.
Power will begin production on an eight-episode first season this fall for a 2014 premiere.
