Halle Berry Set For ‘Kidnap,’ a female version of ‘Taken’Posted by Wilson Morales

Halle Berry, who will next seen reprising her role in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ and has an upcoming TV series for CBS, is set to do the action thriller ‘Kidnap’ for director Luis Prieto.
Described as a “female twist on ‘Taken,’ Beery will play a mother who will stop at nothing to rescue her abducted son. The script was written by Knate Gwaltney with Di Bonaventura Picturs’ Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Erik Howsam serving as producers. Berry will executive produced the film along with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas through their 606 Films.
The film is currently being shopped to foreign buyers at Cannes.
Besides playing Storm again in the X-Men film, on July 2, CBS will air her new CBS’ Sci-Fi Drama ‘Extant,’ which was produced by Steven Spielberg.
