HBO Sports Drops Trailer & Release Date for ‘Tiger’ Docuseries

Tiger Woods is the focus of HBO Sports’ latest docuseries, for which the trailer has recently been released. Aptly named Tiger, the series looks at the entire life of the golf legend; from his younger years showcasing his talent on talk shows alongside golf greats, to his rise, fall, and eventual resurfacing as the world’s greatest golf player, to his to a full circle moment when Tiger played alongside his 11-year-old son at the PNC Championship. Executive producing the two part series is the Oscar winning director Alex Gibney with Stacey Offman, Armen Keteyian, Jeff Benedict, Richard Perello, and Sam Pollard. Matthew Heineman (A Private War) and Matthew Hamacheck (Amanda Knox) will be directing for HBO and Jigsaw Productions.

Tiger will feature exclusive interviews from his closets associates and former significant others including close friend and former caddy, Steve Williams, biographer and family friend, Pete McDaniel, and golf legend Sir Nick Faldo. The series looks to give the audience never before seen footage from the golfers life giving insight to his biggest scandals and ultimate reclamation of his golf greatness.

Part I of the series premiers Sunday January, 10 at 9 pm E.T., Part II on Sunday, January 17 at 9 pm E.T exclusively on HBO Max. View the trailer for Tiger below.
