Issa Dee and her mirror subconscious return one last time for Insecure season 5 on HBO. The Emmy-winning comedy series will return on Sunday, October 24 at 10:00 pm ET/PT. The final ten episodes are set to debut weekly on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
The hit show stars creator and writer Issa Rae, who has become a NAACP Image Award winner and six-time Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee due to the series. The show will continue to follow our favorite characters as they evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in this next phase of their lives.
*Spoilers for season 4 ahead*
In season four, viewers were left on the impossible cliff hanger of Issa and Lawrence finally rekindling their relationship only to be thwarted by the pregnancy of Lawrence’s lover Condola. Fans of the show will also be waiting to see if and how Molly and Issa will mend their torn relationship. Season five has a lot of answering to do, but surely, it wont disappoint.
The fifth season will also see the return of series regulars Molly (Yvonne Orji), Lawrence (Jay Ellis), Kelli (Natasha Rothwell), Tiffany (Amanda Seales) and Condola (Christina Elmore). All of which, have gone on to complete projects outside of the show.
