‘Killing It’: Craig Robinson Is Killing Snakes & Taking Names In New Teaser

Peacock, the video streaming service from NBCUniversal, just released the official teaser for the new comedy Killing It. Headlined by The Office actor and comedian, Craig Robinson, the 10 episode 30 min series is set to hit the streamer in April. The series comes from the producers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici.

Killing It is about class, capitalism and one man’s quest to achieve the American dream. And also about hunting really big snakes. The first three episodes of the season are directed by Mo Marable (Insecure, The Last OG).

“We love all the ambitious, challenging, thematically-rich series that populate the current peak-TV landscape. We also love jokes. So, we tried to make a show that could deliver both. We wanted ‘Killing It’ to explore America’s quasi-religious obsession with entrepreneurship and wealth, and we also wanted it to be funny. Really, really funny. Plus, we wanted it to have big snakes.”

“It’s a daunting creative balancing act, but lucky for us, we were writing for Craig Robinson, aka the most likable man in the world. His hilarious, effortlessly charming performance grounds even the wildest comic moments in something deeply human and relatable.”

Killing It is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Robinson executive produces the series alongside Marable and Mark Schulman.

Robinson currently recurs on NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Jake’s friend and nemesis, Doug Judy (aka the Pontiac Bandit). The actors credits include 2013’s This is The End and 2010’s Hot Tub Time Machine and 2015’s Hot Tub Time Machine 2.
