Loomis Releases New Single  ‘W8tin’: A Bold Comeback for the R&B Star

Known to captivate raw emotions, R&B Los Angeles singer Loomis is making a bold statement with her new song and video, W8tin. The track showcases her signature style — melodic, soulful and emotionally charged. Proving she has vocals and range, W8tin for Loomis is also about her resilience and artistic capabilities.

“I haven’t put out something in a long time,” Loomis said. “Because this last year was really hard for me and I was going through a lot of personal stuff.” 

W8tin,” marks her return to the music scene after a significant hiatus. This release is a powerful statement of her artistic growth and resilience, especially following her earlier challenges, such as the national anthem performance in October 2024. Since then, she shared, she called her creative team, doubled her studio time and got to work with recently stepping into the booth with R&B icon, Jon B.

“I have over 200 songs recorded,” Loomis said with a smile. “We’re just putting it all together. We’re getting ready for the world and I can’t wait for you guys to hear all of he amazing jams and music I have for you.”

Loomis also demonstrated her multifaceted talent and hands on approach to her artistry and directed, styled and co-edited the project W8tin with All In One and Fr8qu8ncy.

Loomis also donned a Von Dutch-inspired look in the W8tin music video is an ode to early 2000s nostalgia with a modern edge. Sporting a Von Dutch trucker hat, baggy pants, and a sexy brown corset, she effortlessly merges casual streetwear with a touch of elegance. The trucker hat pays homage to the brand’s iconic Y2K status, while the baggy pants channel a laid-back, retro vibe. 

Loomis is expected to release a second single, Queen, at a later date.
