Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell Cast In Supernatural Thriller ‘Chronicle’by Wilson Morales

Michael B. Jordan and Alex Russell have been tapped for lead roles in the supernatural thriller ‘Chronicle.’
The story centers around three Portland teenagers who are exposed to a mysterious substance in the woods and subsequently develop superpowers. They begin to work together to hone their new skills but soon find themselves turning on each other, stated Variety.
Also added in the film are Ashley Hinshaw and Dane DeHaan with Josh Trank making his feature directorial debut from a script penned by Max Landis.
John Davis is producing under his Davis Entertainment banner along with Adam Schroeder.
Jordan was a series regular on the last two seasons of critically acclaimed NBC series ‘Friday Night Lights’ and will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Pastor Brown,’ with Salli Richardson-Whitfield and the Tuskegee Airmen, film ‘Red Tails’ with Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr.
The California native was also known for his roles as teenage drug dealer Wallace on the acclaimed HBO drama television series ‘The Wire,’ and as Reggie Montgomery on the ABC soap opera ‘All My Children.’
