Regina Hall To Star Alongside Kevin Hart & Mark Wahlberg in Netflix Comedy ‘ME TIME’

Regina Hall is set to star in the Netflix comedy “Me Time” alongside Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. The pic will be written and directed by John Hamburg who wrote Hart’s ‘Night School’ film. Hamburg will also be producing with Hart and Bryan Smiley for HartBeat Productions under his Particular Pictures. This marks the first time that Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg will team up together for a film.

Hart announced the casting on his Instagram account:

He wrote, “Guess who I’m working with again….it’s been way too long since we have been on screen together….me & my comedy partner in crime are back….God I love working with “Regina King”….she’s a little blurred out in this picture….it was kinda on purpose because she’s looking a little ruff today!!!! U are welcome Regina….I got ya back. :Me Time” coming to @netflix soon.”

Me Time

The film follows a stay-at-home dad (Hart) who finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years while his wife (Hall) and kids are away. He reconnects with his former best friend (Wahlberg) for a wild weekend that nearly upends his life.

Per Deadline, Lauren Hennessey will executive produce alongside HartBeat’s Mark Moran and Patricia Braga. Joe Gatta will also serve as an executive producer.

Hall is recently starring in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers and the Showtime comedy Black Monday. In addition, she will star in and executive produces the occult thriller Master, as well as the comedy Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul. Also starring Sterling K. Brown.
