Multitalented starlet, Reginae Carter, often seen as a celebrity child born into the industry’s limelight is much more than that. Reginae Djuan Carter is an actress, rapper, and television personality rooted from one of the cultures capitols, New Orleans, Louisiana. The talented starlet was born to the famous childhood sweethearts: rapper Dwayne Michael Carter Jr known as Lil’ Wayne, and Antonia “Toya” Johnson, a television personality, best-selling author, and producer. Although Reginae’s introduction to the limelight was courtesy of her parents, the budding starlet began moving through the industry independently. Reginae began appearing alongside her mother on the hit reality television show “Tiny and Toya” and her family documentary “The Carter.” Reginae has made appearances on MTV’S ‘My Super Sweet Sixteen” and the “The Wendy Williams Show.” As the years went on, Reginae continued to secure her place in the hearts of millions through TV. The talented television personality also became a regular on WE tv’s hit show ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta’, and VH1’s’TI & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle.’ In 2019 Reginae added movie actress to her resume by starring in two movies, “Dear Santa, I Need a Date” and “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta.” Reginae also began rapping at a very tender age. Her skills were first made public in her family documentary ‘The Carter’ before she briefly became a member of the R&B all-girls group OMG Girlz which later changed to OMG (Officially Miss Guided). She separated from the group following the release of her first single, “Ain’t Nobody,” to pursue a career as a solo artist. At age 14, she signed to Young Money Entertainment, her father’s label.  In 2013, she wrote a book with Bria Williams (Daughter of Baby from Cash Money Records‘Paparazzi Princess‘ and another with her mother, Toya Johnson, titled “You Just Don’t Get It” in 2017. In November 2013, she launched her first clothing line, ‘Reginae Carter Collection’ before she was handpicked by superstar, Rihanna as a Savage x FentyAmbassador. She is currently the co-host of “Social Society” Season 2 on the popular AMC Networks streaming service, ALLBLK. The multifaceted starlet is continuously making an imprint and building a legacy.
