Blackfilm.com, in partnership with Black Film Space, Mann Robinson Productions, MCM PR, Free Mind TV & FIlm, and 4910 Rosealie Productions, has established a new Black Filmmakers and Writers Fund through donations received from the Blackfilm Movie Night presents an Evening of Short Films on May 20 and May 28.
The Black Filmmakers and Writers Fund supports talented Directors and Writers with a FILM GRANT for narrative features, short films and documentaries that tell a compelling story. Projects should display originality, vision & exceptional potential.
Grant amounts will vary depending on the scale and merit of each project. The unrestricted funds may be used to defray the hard costs for the development or production of a project including travel and shooting expenses.
