Tiffany Haddish’s Tearjerking Reaction To Grammy Win

It’s been 34 years since a black woman has won a Grammy for Best Comedy Recording, and Tiffany Haddish has recently broken that three decade run. The comedian and actress won the coveted award for her Netflix comedy special Black Mitzvah, and unlike her other winning peers who were enjoying the night’s ceremony, Tiffany was busy at what she does best, working. When Haddish found out the news, she was at one of her many gigs taping Kids Say The Darndest Things. Coincidentally, in that very moment, she was telling two young black girls that she was glad to just be nominated for a Grammy, until her producer let her know she actually won. It was at this point, the waterworks probably began for everyone watching the clip. Upon hearing the news of her win, Haddish teared up, confirming if she had really won the award. You can tell Haddish has a heart of gold because she took the time to explain to the young girls what was going on and why it was so important, instead of relishing in the accolade. Haddish broke it down to the girls saying, “Can I tell you why I’m crying?, It’s a lot of bumpy roads that you cross right?..You just have to believe in yourself as much as you can, and against all odds you just say ‘You know what, I’mma just put my best foot forward and I’m gonna give the world the best that I’ve got right? Anything is possible.” Tiffany Haddish’s Tearjerking Reaction To Grammy Win

This moment will undoubtedly be emblazoned in these young girls’ minds until they become the next Tiffany Haddish, or Wilma Rudolph, or Mae C. Jemison, or really, who ever the hell they want to be, because they now know anything is possible.
