Vertical Entertainment has released the trailer to Only, the Takashi Doscher-directed sci-fi, apocalyptic film starring Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto and Hamilton Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr.
After having its world premiere earlier last year at the Tribeca Film Festival, the film will be in theaters & On Demand on Friday, March 6.
Wriiten by Doscher, the film questions the lengths we will go to protect the ones we love. After a comet releases a deadly virus that attacks all the women in the world, Eva (Freida Pinto) and Will (Leslie Odom Jr.) are forced into hiding from both the illness and the savages who hunt the few surviving women. Trapped inside their over-sterilized apartment, the couple’s relationship and sense of sanity begins to crumble. When Eva’s desperation for a normal life becomes as dangerous as the world outside, the couple escapes their self-imposed quarantine to fight for their lives. The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs, Jayson Warner Smith and Joshua Mikel also star.
Eyal Rimmon and Gabrielle Pickle produced the pic, which was executive produced by Gideon Tadmor and Jim Kaufman. It was co-executive produced by Alex P. Creasia, Lauren Mann and William Olsson; and co-produced by Craig Miller and Racheli Sternberg.
