The latest issue of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue will feature more Black actors than they ever had, including three on the cover page.
Making the 2014 list are 12 Years a Slave’s Oscar nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong’o, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’s Idris Elba and Naomie Harris, Fruitvale Station’s Michael B. Jordan, and 42’s Chadwick Boseman.
Rounding out the rest of the list are Oscar nominees Julia Roberts (August: Osage County), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), George Clooney (Gravity), Brie Larson (Short Term 12), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Léa Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Color).
In 2013, Kerry Washington and Quvenzhané Wallis were part of the three-panel foldout, but not on the cover.
The March issue of Vanity Fair will be available in New York and Los Angeles—as well as on the iPhone, iPad, Nook, and Kindle—on February 7. The magazine will be on national newsstands and available in an audio edition on February 11.
