Watch Amandla Stenberg In Clip From ‘As You Are’Posted by Wilson Morales

A clip has been posted online from the thriller ‘As You Are,’ a breakout film from last year’s Sundance Film Festival that was written and directed by 23-year old Miles Joris-Peyrafitte.
The film follows three teens — Charlie Heaton (Netflix’s “Stranger Things”), Owen Campbell (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”) and rising “Hunger Games” actress Amandla Stenberg — who form a bond that is tested and maybe untethered while living in a small town.
Jack (Owen Campbell) is a high school student who lives with his single mother Karen (Mary Stuart Masterson) in a nondescript suburban town. Considered a social outcast and loner, Jack is friendless until Karen’s new boyfriend Tom (Scott Cohen) moves in and brings his son Mark (Charlie Heaton) into their lives. The two outsiders quickly bond and form a tight friendship and, after a chance encounter at a diner, bring fellow student Sarah (Amandla Stenberg) into their group. The three teens become each other’s saving grace until changing relationships and emerging secrets force them to look at themselves and see how far they are willing to go live the lives they choose.
Also featured in the film are John Scurti, Scott Cohen, Mary Stuart Masterson, Kim Grant, Annemarie Lawless, Billy Thomas Myott, Andrew Polk, John Romeo, and Christopher Dylan White.
The film is being released in theaters on February 24, 2017 in New York at the Village East Cinema with more cities to follow.
