Premiering on Shadow and Act is Ka’ramuu Kush‘s short film ‘And Then…’, which was co-written by Ka’ramuu and Aisha Hinds, and stars Kush, Diandra Lyle, and Vanessa Williams (Soul Food). The musical score was created by Prince Damons.
And Then is a “coming of womanhood” story that deals with one woman’s confrontation of issues surrounding body image, communication, and the psychology of sex. The film is about the discovery of feminine power and the healing that follows.
Having made its World Premiere in New York and Los Angeles, the film was also the winner of the 3rd Shadow And Act Black Filmmaker Screenwriting Challenge.
